Princeton Songwriters Meeting August 9th: Half Baked

Hi Song Slingers,

It’s that time of year where we bring in our “Half Baked” songs.
We’ve been doing this now for a couple of years and it’s become quite popular.  Half Baked are song starts that have been sitting around for awhile and you like them but haven’t moved on them.

Half Bake: bring in two song starts and let the group hear them. We’ll help you decide which one for now you should put your energy into with hopes you’ll end up finishing that song. And , … and,  be inspired to finish the other song as well… later, of course.

Half Baked: these starts could be a verse only, chorus only. a line with a  melody. Music only, pieces of a lyric with no music. NOT an entire song. If someone wants a new song to be critiqued we’ll make time to do so. But this meeting is about the pieces of songs laying around waiting for attention and completion.
It’s good stuff.

Also wanted to make you all aware we have a Facebook page:
