The Princeton Songwriters NSAI Chapter Holiday Meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 7:30!
What does this mean? Good cheer and great songs and light refreshments (no alcohol), sugar cookies (a Princeton Songwriters tradition) and other sweet and savory snacks (feel free to bring food or drink to share!)
In the past, we’ve had a round robin song circle that’s been fun, and we’d love to include YOU. Folks play their favorite holiday song, their very own great song, favorite song in general, or a song that just popped into their heads. No lyric sheets or critique, just praise and wild applause.
(If you have a new song you would like critiqued we will do that too–just bring 8 lyric sheets.)
We are are asking for a head count. Let us know if you’re coming by emailing Ruth Ruthgree@yahoo.com. Our cookie elf needs to know…
You’re welcome to bring any munchable snack (or drink) as well as any guests (guests = other songwriters or that family member or sweetie or buddy who wonders where the heck you go every 2nd Tuesday of the month).
Whether or not you can join us, we 3 wish you a happy holiday season and a new year full of songs and joy!
John, Ruth, and Mark…your coordinators and fellow song-slingers
